Nikki Nikkei hosts private dinners and celebrations in Closter, from a small gathering upstairs to a full buyout of the restaurant. Every event is planned with our team and built around Chef Giuseppe Agostino's Peruvian-Japanese menu, served the way we think it's best enjoyed: shared, generous and paced over the course of the evening.
We begin with the occasion and the guest list, and shape the rest around them. Menus can unfold family-style, with cold dishes like ceviche and tiradito for the table, followed by rice, maki and larger plates from the grill. For receptions, we offer passed bites and a bar program of pisco, sake and Japanese whisky cocktails. We're glad to accommodate dietary needs and to tailor the menu to the event.

The Elixir Room
Our upstairs dining room, inspired by the old apothecary. It's private, intimate and set apart from the main floor, well suited to birthdays, family dinners and small corporate gatherings, with a special treat for every guest.

The Dining Room
Dark and warm, with a mural over the stone fireplace, a hand-built Japanese slatted wall and a chandelier hanging from the vaulted ceiling. Available for larger celebrations, with seating for up to 62 guests.

The entire restaurant, including the mural-wrapped bar, the dining room and the Elixir Room, for rehearsal dinners, milestone celebrations and evenings that call for the whole house.
